![]() Brady Seals biographyBorn 29 March 1969, Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. Brady comes from a musical family; his uncle is the songwriter Troy Seals and his cousins are Jim Seals (of Seals And Croft), Dan Seals and Johnny Duncan. His parents sang in church and Brady played piano and sang from an early age. He went on the road at 16 with country singer Josh Logan, and he met the musicians who were to become Little Texas. Brady played keyboards and sang backing vocals for Little Texas, co-writing their early 90s hits, "My Love", "What Might Have Been" and "God Blessed Texas'. The heavy touring schedule wore him down so, in 1995, he left Little Texas and began writing songs with Troy Seals' son, T.J. Rodney Crowell co-produced Seals" 1996 solo debut, The Truth, a pleasant country rock collection on Warner Brothers Records featuring the country hits, "Still Standing Tall" and his ballad with Wynonna, "Another You, Another Me". His second album, Brady Seals, was boosted by guest appearances from Bela Fleck, Vince Gill and Ricky Skaggs. After parting company with Warners, Seals took time out before returning in 2003 with the roots rock album, Thompson Street.
